Re: Borini?
He is young, talented, played and trained with great players and clubs.

Done very well at Sunderland in a turbulent rough side.

I don't see why not, however not happy with blowing too much money on this deal...

But better than what we got so far

Nothing in #whufc and Borini. They asked about him on loan from #LFC last season, but that was a year ago. Nothing since.

Reports that Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is on his way to West Ham were denied by club insiders this morning.

According to The Sun Slaven Bilic is now trying to make a fourth new signing and that Borini is the target.

But ClaretandHugh was told this morning that there has been no move for a player who would cost around 8 million.

Our source said: Weve seen the story and theres nothing in it as far as we are concerned . Its not the first time the media has had a pop at it.

Borini, 24, has struggled to make an impact with Liverpool since arriving from Roma in 2012, scoring just three goals in 38 games in all competitions.

PLEASE FUCKING NO

Re: Borini?
I'd be extremely underwhelmed by this signing.

We've had enough strikers in the past who have only scored 13 goals in their last 78 games thanks very much!

If he's so shit, what does Bilic see in him that he's prepared to spend £8 million?

Remember the source. The same one had us as actually having signed Mbodj over 2 weeks ago.

What a load of fucking shit!!!

This guy is dogshit! He was a surprise inclusion in their team to face us and was absolutely pants.

My Liverpool supporting friends think this is hilarious and we are getting absolutely robbed blind for £8 million!

Please let this be a load of bollocks!!!

Shit at Liverpool and average at Sunderland with the odd decent game here and there. His only successful (albeit very brief) time in England was at Swansea and that was in the Championship.

We need to sign a new hate figure in the squad what with CFC gone and Nolan past it.

Re: Borini?
Yeah, Remy or Austin before this fella. Why he could be a success here, when he failed a Liverpool I don't know.

Glenn Rodent 10:12 Mon Jun 29
Re: Borini?
I'd rather Austin or Remy in that order.

not been impressed with him whenever I've seen him.

pretty poor goal return on his time in England.

surely better out there for us.

Re: Borini?
Can't say I've seen loads of him, apart from when he's played against us, and I've not been impressed, didn't do anything of note. But he clearly must have something about him as Sunderland had him on loan and were prepared to pay £12million, but he turned them down.

Can understand the interest, as he can play anywhere in the forward positions, but would be hoping for better tbh.

Considering you start seperate threads of films you have seen instead of posting on the film thread, this doesn't surprise me. Proper little attention seeker.
